Emergency Department Paramedic

The ED paramedic will assist in providing timely and high-quality patient care to individuals presenting to Emergency Department. The position requires knowledge to identify patients with emergent and urgent needs, and skills necessary to initiate standard life saving care, and to expedite acute treatment. The ED Paramedic provides direct patient care including collecting and communicating information to other team members and ED physician regarding the health status of patients. This role requires initiative and high motivation. The ED paramedic provides all duties identified in their job description under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and reports to Emergency Department Director.
