South Arkansas Regional Hospital
Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures. Follows hospital regulations and industry procedures to tend to patients during pre-operation procedures. Performs pre-operation preparations on the patients’ skin, body, and medical equipment. May be required to transport a patient to and from the operating room. Maintains aseptic technique during surgical cases and protects the integrity of the operating room. Operates equipment required for specified types of surgical cases. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Takes call on a rotating basis. Graduate of an Associate 2-year degree in Surgical Scrub Technology.
