Controller/ Director of Finance and Accounting

Responsibilities:

– Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
– Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
– Perform general ledger accounting and account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
– Conduct general ledger reconciliation to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors
– Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
– Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
– Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations
– Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee treasury functions
– Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements

Skills:

– Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and double-entry bookkeeping principles
– Proficient in budgeting and financial forecasting techniques
– Experience with general ledger accounting and account analysis
– Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation to identify discrepancies or errors
– Familiarity with debits, credits, and other fundamental financial concepts
– Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
– Effective communication skills to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
