This position functions primarily in the psychiatric acute inpatient space of the hospital, assisting patients who are experiencing an immediate mental health crisis and require acute stabilization and treatment
•Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
•Promotes patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
•Performs a variety of tasks
