At South Arkansas Regional Hospital, our 166-bed facility offers exceptional inpatient care across a wide range of specialties – from intensive care, obstetrics, surgery, cardiology, and neurology to behavioral health and rehabilitation.
Our dedicated 20-bed rehabilitation unit, located on the second floor, supports your recovery following acute illness, injury, surgery, or neurological events. Patients receive three hours of personalized therapy five days a week, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, delivered by a multidisciplinary team led by rehabilitation-certified physicians.
Our behavioral health department provides confidential, structured care for adults aged 18–64. A compassionate team – including therapists, psychiatric nurses, mental health technicians, and a leading psychiatrist – crafts individualized treatment plans featuring counseling, group therapy, activity therapy, medication management, and discharge planning.
SARH also delivers expert care in critical care (ICU), dialysis, infusion, hospice, orthopedics, cardiology, ENT, and nursing. We’re proud to offer inpatient hospice care in partnership with Arkansas Hospice – complete with an interdisciplinary support team, dedicated family rooms, and 24/7 visitation for added comfort and privacy.
